TIME: You can be alot of things in this lifetime – but you cannot be a Zebra!

Rev. Marlin Lavanhar reminds us of the limits of our human experience, the limits of Time.  And reminds us too of the wondrous experiences we can choose to have within this limited amount of Time.

Learn to expand the quality of Time we have because we cannot expand the quantity of Time we have.

Learn to stop our compulsive busyness to notice and deeply appreciate the beauty of life, and connect with our heart and spirit, and with those most important in our lives.  Be grateful for the blessings we have.  And moderate our Time in a way that demonstrates this gratitude.

This Issue TV + Maine Peace Walkers in Bath and Brunswick this week!

Please take some time today to watch this show hosted by Bruce Gagnon as he interviews artist Russell Wray.  Both Bruce and Russell are dear to our hearts.  They are peace and environmental activists living in Maine striving to create a better future for our Earth and all her inhabitants.  Both work locally and globally. They were part of a large group of peace activists who were here at Twinkle’s Place last year during Maine Peace Walkers trek.  This year for the Maine Peace Walk they are stationed in Bath.  Tonight the UU Congregation in Brunswick is hosting them for: Maine Peace Walk for Conversion, Community and Climate Join them!

Bruce Gagnon works for the Global Network Against Weapons & Nuclear Power in Space and writes a popular blog called Organizing Notes.

Russell Wray leads an organization called COAST (Citizens Opposing Active Sonar Threats) and was largely motivated to do civil disobedience at BIW due to Navy sonar’s impact on sea life – particularly whales and dolphins.  His art work is often motivated by his love for whales and dolphins.

Living the Deeper YES! by Anna Huckabee Tull

Over the years I have been blessed to have collaborated with my friend Anna on many projects, including: Women of Spirit anthology, TEDxWaldenPond, Empowering Women fundraising concerts with Anna and The Porch Party Mamas, Women’s Retreats at First Parish in Concord, the list goes on.  Anna is one of the most wonderfully creative and deeply spiritual women I know on the planet! She walks her talk. I am so proud to celebrate her new book with the world!  Anna’s book powerfully discloses an oft overlooked reality we are all faced with: the entangled relationship we have with ourselves. Living the Deeper YES mindfully teaches us how to “unblend from the places inside that hurt.” Click the image below and order your copy today!
