Beauty is Born
We all have it.
Inside
Like a treasure, we guard it
Our talent, Our vision, Our love, Our beauty
It is our gift
Our gift to give
Our gift too often held in fear of the rejection of it
Too often clamped closed like the tight bud of a rose
Safe within the confines of its layers.
We feel the tug of Nature’s desire
Learned behavior behaves like instinct
Shutting down and closing in our wish
For us to loosen the cage in which we store our treasure
Keeping in check our intuitive Knowing
To set it free
To share it
Fear faces the tender heart
Shrouding it in the shadows of our darkest memories
Another moment arrives,
With the cresting Sun on the Eastern horizon
Unpleasant grip misses a beat
Altering the balance of Power
Unlocking the bolt
Releasing the leash
Making the Darkness wince
Beauty is Born

“How did the rose ever open its heart and give to this world all its beauty? It felt the encouragement of light against its being, otherwise, we will remain too frightened ”
