Rev. “Twinkle” Marie Manning’s Presentation:

“Arguing for the Sake of Heaven”

What do our disagreements look like? What, if any, are our ulterior motives when we engage in conversations with those we disagree with? Are they battles for the sake of winning? Or are they rooted in the search for truth and meaning? This service explores what it means to Argue for the Sake of Heaven as a practical and spiritual practice for Building Bridges.

Katerina Gimon (*1993, Canada) – Fire (from: Elements) Performed by Mädchenchor Hamburg (Hamburg Girls Choir) Elbphilharmonie, Januar 2025 The “Elements” cycle is a four-movement work in which each movement sets one of the four classical elements to music: earth, air, fire and water. “Fire” describes the energetic, explosive and sometimes horrific power of this elemental force.
