New Moon in June
For those of us who feel called by the sixth source of our UU faith, many of us take time to pause at the phases of the Moon. This can be a period of sacred solitude or communal ritual. We have friends of many faith traditions who like to gather together at Twinkle’s Place and the new moon time is what we have chosen to open to our community.
The New Moon is a time of creation. A time of aligning your faith-in-action to your deepest desires.

Mind Body Spirit Festival Belfast
“Twinkle” Marie Manning and her sister Laura Duffy will be participants at this year’s Mind Body Spirit Festival in Belfast, Maine. Saturday, April 11th 10am-4pm. University of Maine Hutchison Center: 81 Belmont Avenue, Belfast, Maine.
Twinkle opens the day by leading a “Sacred Writing Workshop” and Laura Duffy, Doula will be present to meet and greet attendees. They along with many other practitioners and experts. Be sure to stop by the Twinkle’s Place and Mainely Birthing tables.

New Moon Gatherings
The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, a monthly re-start, and an opportunity to take stock of the directions you wish to focus your energies on. During the dark of the moon, the moon generates energy that is creative, receptive and strong. Taking the time in solitude -or in a group- to center yourself, feel your connection with the Earth and the Universe as you enter into sacred space is a key to peace of mind and a purposeful life.
