Bernadette Rombough is a Dene Medicine Woman. 

Dene people place profound emphasis on living in harmony—specifically with the land,  the spirit world, and each other.  Bernadette provides traditional healing, counseling & mother to the spirit Earth.  In traditional ceremonies, she says, we are connected both physically and spiritually as both   body and spirit   must heal together. Meditation,  drumming,  songs and stories  complete this. 

During ceremony, she uses a variety of sacred objects, including her brother’s art. She says his visionary pieces are truly healing as these objects are a connection to the spirit world. Bernadette’s brother is John Rombough  – an acclaimed Dene Artist.
