Rev. “Twinkle” Marie Manning was invited by the NAUA to present their December Worship Service once again this year. She chose a Solstice theme and invited her friend and Matriarch of one of her women’s circles, Margaret Stewart, to co-lead the service with her.
Twinkle and Margaret have been dear friends for almost 20 years…and have been co-leading rituals together for just as long!
The video below contains the full Winter Solstice Service presented by Margaret and Twinkle.
Three additional songs were included during the service:
Ingathering music:
“Solstice Carole” by Word Sisters
Prelude:
Jim Scott’s Song Longest Night.
Postlude:
Gordon Lightfoot’s “Song for a Winter’s Night” ((NOTE: Twinkle’s father, mother and mother’s older brothers were friends with Gordon!! They loved playing guitars and singing with him)).
