Each year rather than create a list of resolutions, I select a word-of-the-year to live by, and live in to. Having a presiding word helps me stay focused on that which I most wish to manifest in my inner and outer worlds. It helps me to pay attention when the universe provides nudges and confirmations and synchronicities. It gives me a touchstone in good times and in bad as a method and measure of how to respond. And…it calls upon me to “practice what I preach” as it inevitably presents lessons within the context of the word throughout the year.
