Reverence for Life – UU Animal Ministry

When I lived in Concord, MA, I was delighted that my home congregation – First Parish in Concord – had a Reverence for Life group. Each month a vegan potluck was hosted that showcased such delicious food! Additionally, a guest speaker would present to those assembled.  It was a beautiful way to begin to inculcate a deeper understanding of true reverence for life – all beings and truly begin to take steps towards living into our first principle of the inherent worth and dignity of all along with respect for the interdependent web of life for which we are all part of.

“Creating a vision board is probably one of the most valuable visualization tools available to you. This powerful tool serves as your image of the future – a tangible representation of where you are going. It represents your dreams, your goals, and your ideal life.”                                 Jack Canfield

“An affirmation board is a self-portrait. It’s a presentation of everything your entire being says yes to.”                                                                                                                                                                  – Louise Hay & Robert Holden, Ph.D.

Throughout her years in television interviewing renown individuals who achieved success beyond their wildest dreams, Twinkle discovered that they all utilized envisioning techniques to achieve their goals!  From Nobel Peace Laureates, to Pro Surfers, NBA Allstars to Rock ’n Roll Legends, each had a clear vision of what they wanted to accomplish and used visual tools to do just so.

This Workshop takes Vision Board creation to the level of Art. Not mere paper and glue, but a full on multi-media masterpiece reflection of your goals and dreams!

Each participant receives in advance a booklet of worksheets to complete in preparation for the workshop.  You will arrive with clearer purpose of your dreams and gain understanding of any limitations that have been holding you back from manifesting that which you most want.

We cover the practical how-to of vision board creation, as well as offer special techniques to help you energetically balance, align your purpose and manifest into reality.

New Moon in July

Cleo is eagerly anticipating our monthly New Moon ritual.

July’s New Moon is in Cancer.   A perfect time for accessing our inner most desires, communicating our feelings, and honoring our emotions.

Dive deep as you plant seeds of creation for your highest good, cultivating self-love and compassion.

With several of our regular participants leaving town for vacations later this week and others in our community have various conflicting plans, we have decided to have this month’s New Moon gathering a day early:

Join us Wednesday July 15th, 7pm at Twinkle’s Place.

Twinkle will lead the ritual as we honor this sacred time of the month and prepare for what is next on our journeys.

Ask me why I am UU

UPDATE Summer 2020 – Twinkle no longer identifies as UU. While many of her dear colleagues are UU Ministers and religious professionals, the UU corporation has left behind its religious roots and many of its leaders are engaging in shaming those who disagree with them, causing financial harm, emotional distress, and even encouraging the perpetuation of violence. Twinkle is appalled by such stances and has instructed the UUA to remove TwinklesPlace from their website links until such time in which the UUA and UUMA restore to peaceable roots operating with love, compassion, integrity, honesty and transparency.
