Twinkle has found a new property in Northern Maine to call home for “Twinkle’s Place” retreat center and she is delighted to share this dream! The property sits on several acres, is nestled in the woods while at the same time two minutes from a vibrant downtown location. There are beautiful parks and abundant walking paths and lakes and mountains nearby.
Twinkle’s vision is to place several small cabins and a large pavilion-style gathering center on this land. We will commence building Autumn 2025 with our Grande Opening Celebration July 2026.
It will feature an opportunity for an “Artists in Residence” program, whereby artists from a wide variety of mediums and expertise will be provided housing and time on a rotating 3-month schedule to nestle into this beautiful location to create, and/or to rest and rejuvenate as they may wish to. Twinkle will also resume her signature gatherings, and have weekly, monthly and annual events. She will offer these collaboratively with fellow retreat leaders and teachers. House concerts and other community-wide gatherings will be a staple on the schedule.
Twinkle’s Place will also have luxurious outdoor spaces, perfect for immersing in nature, walking garden paths, and sitting in contemplation. Beautiful flowers, greenery, herb and vegetable gardens will all be present to explore. And, there will be benches throughout the property. (Anyone who knows Twinkle, knows how important this is!)
Mostly, her retreat center will offer a much needed place of solace and compassion in Maine. It will be a beacon to those seeking peace from domestic violence situations. It will be a haven for artists of all walks of life to express their creativity.

The following levels include everything above plus very unique gifts in gratitude for your support:
$20,000 – the Library, Outdoor Kitchen or an Artist’s Cabin dedicated with your name (or the name of someone you love) along with an inspirational message placed at the entry + a two night stay at Twinkle’s place for you and three other guests annually for the first three years.
$30,000 – a gazebo and/or screened-in area with your name (or the name of someone you love) along with an inspirational message of your choice placed at the entry + your name listed in the gratitude section of every art program we present + a three night stay at Twinkle’s place for you and three other guests annually for the first four years.
$50,000 – You get to name one of the larger out buildings and/or Pavilion! Also, you receive annually a four night stay at Twinkle’s place for you and three other guests annually for the first five years.
***Above annual stays at Twinkle’s Place ARE transferable if you would like to gift them to someone else.
