Each year rather than create a list of resolutions, I select a word-of-the-year to live by, and live in to.  Having a presiding word helps me stay focused on that which I most wish to manifest in my inner and outer worlds.  It helps me to pay attention when the universe provides nudges and confirmations and synchronicities. It gives me a touchstone in good times and in bad as a method and measure of how to respond. This year’s word is “Listen.”

Breathe out each evening deep gratitude for living.

And Listen to the Call of the Universe

in every interaction

in every curve in the road

in every commitment to task

in every covenant of relationship

in every whispered word

in every meditation

in every prayer

in every song
