I believe what is needed in our congregations is to be able to preach and talk about the mystical, in prophetic ways, and through storytelling. Spiritual and practical. Embrace it and find creative ways to really explore it and question it rather than have it be a mere mention in the occasional sermon.

Spiritual exploration could be a foundation for why we gather.

(Spirituality and Mysticism in church, I know, crazy idea!)

But, think about it:

Instead of one call to action after another, how about a call to rest, to be still, to go within, to look each other in the eyes, to hold each other, to be with one another.
