This poet will be ever-present in my life. Andrea Gibson’s work has been seeded through my own for years, and will be for years to come. Andrea transitioned just over a week ago. I, along with a world of lovers-of-her-spirit, wept. Still weep. Her writing delivered raw truth painted in buttercups upon fields of beauty. Ushered forth by a voice that, with technology and memory, will linger for as long as humans have access to them. Here is one of Andrea’s departing gifts:
